Liverpool's hopes of signing Mario Gotze have been
boosted after Bayern Munich confirmed they are in 'no
rush' to offer the German international a new contract.
The 23-year-old's current deal is up in the summer of
2017, but it seems Bayern won't be making waves to
get the World Cup winner to stay at the Allianz Arena.
"We all know how the situation is and how long his
contract is still running and we know when there are
certain key moments," sporting director Matthias
Sammer said.
"But we are the ones who are in charge - we are in no
rush and will work on this at our leisure
