Jurgen Klopp has promised not to overspend in an bid
to sign Shakhtar Donetsk striker Alex Teixeira.
Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre offered £24million
for the Brazilian during face to face talks with
Shakhtar officials in Florida on Wednesday but the
Ukrainian's are understood to want around £38m.
However, Klopp is reluctant to be irresponsible with
funds.
He said: "You can't just go we have money and throw it
away and take any players you want," he said. "It is
always about the decision. You can sign a lot of
rubbish with money or you can make really good
decisions.
