Newcastle boss: Why the draw against Man Utd felt more like a win

Steve McClaren applauds the home supporters after the
final whistle
Paul Dummett struck in stoppage time to secure the
Magpies an unlikely point against Van Gaal's men at St
James' Park this evening.
After rallying from 2-0 down, Dummett gave the home
faithful something to cheer about with his volleyed
strike.
And McClaren admitted that while the game was a
classic for the neutral, it was 'heart-stopping' for the
managers.
"The crowd responded magnificently and we wanted to
show everyone what we are about," McClaren said.
"People said that United were boring and that we lack
character – but we kept fighting until the end and we
have got a goal that "People thought it would be a 0-0 and it was a classic
at 3-3.
"It must have been a great game for the neutral – it
was a heart attack for the coaches." like a winner.
