Liverpool News: Markovic on future, Henderson on transfers, Mignolet deal, defender move

Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson is expecting more
players to arrive at Anfield , after Marko Grujic, Kamil
Grabara and Steven Caulker joined this month.
Speaking after their 1-0 defeat to Manchester United
on Sunday , Henderson said: "Football teams will
always look to strengthen, always look to improve."
"But us as players we just have to give everything for
now and try to win as many games, put in as many
performances as possible. I really believe we have a
good squad of players but we need to be winning."
Simon Mignolet has signed a five-and-a-half-year deal
with Liverpool that keeps him contracted to the club
until 2021.
The Belgian keeper remains under scrutiny for his
performances this season but he insisted his best years
were to come.
