Chelsea hail Ruben Loftus-Cheek as the new Frank Lampard after Scunthorpe goal

Chelsea fans believe they’ve finally replaced Frank
Lampard after Ruben Loftus-Cheek notched his
maiden goal for the club.
Lampard scored 211 goals in 648 games for the
Blues, and became known for arriving late in the
box before smashing it into the back of the net.
Chelsea fans have been desperate for Loftus-Cheek,
19, to be given more playing time at Stamford
Bridge and they got their wish today when he
replaced Oscar at half-time against Scunthorpe.
And the England U21s star repaid Hiddink’s faith
in him by scoring a Lampard-esque goal midway
through the second half.
However, surely it’s a bit too early for this?
